You get a 48-hour grace window. After that you donate the stake yourself, directly through Every.org. Forfyt never holds the money.

Fair questions
Is this gambling?+
No. You decide a fixed stake in advance. There are no odds, no randomness, no payout and no house. You can't win money on Forfyt — the only outcomes are "you did the thing" or "a charity gets your stake." Losses go to a nonprofit you picked, never to us.
Does Forfyt see my photos?+
Your check-in photos are stored privately and sent to a third-party vision provider (OpenRouter) for the sole purpose of verifying the habit. They're never public, never sold, and never used for anything else. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
Can I get my money back?+
Nothing is charged upfront, so there's nothing for us to refund. If you miss a habit and donate, that donation goes directly from you to the charity via Every.org — donations are final and non-refundable, same as any charitable gift.
What happens if I don't pay?+
We can't take the money from you, and we don't try. Unpaid forfeits stay on your record, your streak stops, and pledging is paused until you settle up. The whole thing only works if you mean it.
